Hot fire operations course in Forrestfield

FESA developed a training curriculum system to train volunteer firefighters in the various aspects of fire fighting. Some courses are conducted at the training academy in Forrestfield and others are conducted on a regional basis at the various stations around the state. The number of courses attended determines an individuals operational readiness.

The system has several main certification areas, consisting of several individual training courses which are listed below. Most fire fighters in Busselton have completed the first 3 main certification areas, and officers have completed parts of the Firefighting Leadership area.
