At present the Busselton Brigade has the following appliances

Country Pumper

Busselton has taken delivery of a new breed of fire appliance called the urban country pumper and it has replaced  the Mazda. The new appliance is designed in consultation with volunteers and fire and rescue staff. It’s design is based on the Scania appliance used at Perth Metro stations but has been adapted to requirements of country towns that have more bush area’s. The appliance will carry 1200 liters of water as well as carry rescue equipment and breathing apparatus. More safety features are added such as louder sirens and air horns together with much better safety lighting both for highway use and perimeter lighting for night time incidents.

Light Tanker

Due to the vast amount of urban bush land and sandy terrain located throughout the state, the Toyota Landcruiser 4 x 4 Light Tanker was designed to enable firefighting crews off road access to fight scrub/bush fires.
The Light Tanker has a tank capacity of 500 liters, is fitted with an independent diesel driven pump and has the ability to deliver both A & B Class foam through 3 hose reel outlets (front, side and rear mounted) and a 40mm delivery line. It also has the ability to draft water from an open supply with suctions.
Sugito Pumper

This appliance is not standard to the WA Fire and Rescue Service. It was donated to the Shire of Busselton (who have donated it to the Busselton FRS) by the City of Sugito, Japan.

The fire appliance has not water carrying capabilities, but has a outstanding pump on board. This appliance may used in major fires and as personnel transport.
